"Pure Nude" NYX Extra Creamy Round lipstick applied straight from the tube

This would look best with a nude or pink gloss on top.

If you're in a bind and need a lipstick quick, these are awesome. At four bucks, they're super affordable, have great pigmentation, are creamy but not too creamy, and come in a whole range of colors. But their chemically smell and sketchy ingredients (parabens, BHA) make the NYX Extra Creamy Round Lipsticks a pass for everyday wear for me. I also personally prefer drier, more matte lipsticks for the long-wear factor.
Hope you enjoyed my quick and dirty review and swatches!
such a lovely shades!
ReplyDeleteI know! They really are, especially Snow White, I think!
DeleteI didn't realize that there were so many bad ingredients in the NYX Lipsticks. I LOVE these. I actually don't smell any chemical oder, but I do agree that with ingredients that aren't totally sound, I may have to rethink my everyday wear..!

Hey Stephanie! Thanks for stopping by! Hmm, maybe I just got a weird batch that came with that weird smell. But yes, unfortunately, almost all the NYX lipstick lines' ingredients are on the sketchy side for everyday wear :/
Deletewowowowowowowow! Gorgeous colors (and photos!) No parabens would have been nice though :/
