Peachy Corals: A Face of the Day with Tarte's Aqualillies Palette

Here's the look I'm wearing today. I'm actually going to a pool party/low-key dinner, so this is wayy too much makeup for the occasion, but I felt like taking my time today. It's incredibly hot and humid out, so my makeup will most likely melt off my face as soon as I'm outside for more than 10 minutes, finishing spray or not. WOMP.

I decided to go corally-peach for my color palette 1) because the summer's almost over !! and 2) because I wanted to get more use out of my Tarte Aqualillies palette and the awesome L'Oreal Infallible eyeshadow Cherie Marie (limited edition) and my new bad boy, the Maybelline Color Tattoo Pure Pigment in Breaking Bronze.

For my eyebrows, I applied the Tarte Amazonian clay waterproof brow mousse in Taupe (still undecided on this product). On the eyes, I patted Cherie Marie all over the lid and Breaking Bronze on the outer half of the lid. Then I blended the taupe color from the Tarte Aqualillies palette on the crease, and applied the shimmery beige/pink color on the browbone and the inner corner of the eye. Then I took a pencil brush and smudged Cherie Marie and Breaking Bronze on the lower lashline. Finally, I applied some black liquid liner and done!

 Another Look
On the cheeks I applied the matte peach blush from the Tarte Aqualillies palette and then I lined the lips with Jordana lipliner in Tawny (love!) and applied some Revlon Kiss Me Coral lipgloss :)
