This Month's Drugstore Haul: Jordana liners, Wet n Wild Fergie Lipsticks and Rimmel and Revlon Lip Glosses

Monday, August 19, 2013

A couple weeks ago, I picked up some new items at the drugstore and wanted to share what I got!

At Walgreens, I wanted to try a few things from Jordana, as I've heard a bunch of good things from YouTubers. From what I've learned, this super inexpensive line can be hit or miss.

I picked up Tawny, an everyday rosey-brown lipliner. This is a my-lips-but-better. I got the idea to pick this up from Carlibybel as she always wears just this liner all over the lips by itself or with a clear gloss on top.

I also picked up the new Jordana 12 HR Made to Last liquid eyeliner pencils. I hadn't heard anything online about these liners, but thought I'd try them, as I'm always a sucker for liquid-like long-lasting pencil liners, especially for the waterline. I've tried these out and they do really seem to last on my waterline! They're not the best ever, but considering they're $2.50 each, they're totally worth it. Plus, they're paraben-free!

Then, at CVS with some ExtraBucks and BOGO 50% off, I picked up two of the Revlon Super Lustrous lip glosses in the new packaging. I'm not really a gloss girl, but since I was going to get these super cheap, I figured I'd round out my gloss collection with some colors I didn't have. I picked up Kiss Me Coral and Fucshia Finery.

Another lip gloss I'd been eyeing at CVS was the new Rimmel Stay Glossy 3D. I absolutey love the original formula of the Rimmel Stay Glossy glosses, as they're non-sticky and come in gorgeous colors. This new version promises to make your lips look fuller using lots of iridescent shimmer in the formula. I picked up the shade Popcorn for 2.

I'd also heard some mixed reviews on Fergie's line with Wet n Wild. I wanted to try out her lipsticks as they looked similar to Wet n Wild's Mega Last lipsticks, which are amazingly pigmented and long-lasting. My first impressions: they're not as long-lasting as Mega Last but they're more comfortable and moisturizing on the lips.

The nude shade Fergie Daily is too brown for me on its own, but with a pink gloss, this gives me a perfect nude lip to pair with a smokey eye.V.I.Pink is a great creamy light pink. This is also nice mixed with Fergie Daily. Penthouse Sweet is a tad darker and more bubblegum pink than V.I.Pink.
